Chapter 8. Power Surge

“What did you mean by that?” Becky glanced at Alicia with curiosity. Her first guess was that Jimmy might have been hit by the multiple shots fired by Enzo. But how could that be since Alicia had activated the anti-destruction shield that looked like a glowing white orb around the escape pod?

“He might have come in contact with a lightning surge.”

“I still do not understand. Please don’t tell me he’s dead. I can’t be the only human alone on Planet Earth!” Becky cried out.
