I stepped out of the door, surprised to see him. What was he doing here? 

“Uhm, hi, good morning,” I said. I was a bit nervous and fiddling with my fingers. Oh God, what was he doing here so early in the morning? I turned back to look at Kylian and noticed he had stopped what he was doing.

Damon tucked his hands into his pockets and raised his face to look at me. Oh my days, why did he look extremely handsome this morning? I felt my throat go dry, and memories from the other night at the club came swimming in. Jeez, Roxanne, I smacked myself mentally for thinking about something so inappropriate. 

“I came to check if you’ve left already,” he said, his eyes as cold as ever. Was something wrong? Why did he look that way? He wasn’t smiling at me like usual and wasn’t trying to flirt or crack me up.&n
