“Does Alpha Edison know you’re here?”

He grinned but didn’t answer my question.

Master Ralph was acting so strangely that I felt there was something wrong with him. Or was it Lady Kendra that was causing him to act queer since yesterday? I wondered if that woman was too much for him.

I mean, I found it amusing how he could tolerate his wife when she got out of control every time Alpha Edison was in front of her.

We were both in the stable, looking for a good horse that I could easily tame. It was my first time in that place, and I was somehow glad that Master Ralph volunteered to assist me. The whole place smelled of old wood and hay, and the caretakers always assured me the stable was clean, especially after I heard that Alpha Edison goes to this place and does horseback riding as his stress reliever.
