Hearing this, Jasper wasn’t surprised at all. This wasn’t the first time that their leader had cast such a hostile look at him. A wolf entered the room from outside, causing a cold gust of wind to sweep in, making Jasper shiver. Just as the wolf who was treating Jasper finished his task, another wolf stepped forward.

He walked to the front of Jasper, then tossed the medicine bottle to another wolf. This wolf was the one Jasper had confronted earlier.

“Hey, tend to your wounds,” the wolf instructed.

“Thank you,” Jasper replied.

The wolf nodded as if confirming that he had heard Jasper. Jasper wasn’t surprised by this. It wasn’t the first time that their leader had given him such hostile glares. In the room, one wolf was still focused on Jasper, curiously watching his every move, while the others were discussing among themselves.
