“The man was not happy, boss.” Igor said through the phone.
“I did not send the corpses to him to be happy. The two of us knew very well that he would be very pissed about it.” I said calmly. “Did he say anything to respond?”
“No, I walked out of the room without him saying a word. The man was completely baffled, but judging by his friend’s expression, I doubt that the two of them would be planning to stop this madness that they are doing.” I nodded in response despite knowing that the man couldn’t see me.
“I will give them twenty-four hours before we proceed again. You know, he might get his brain back inside his head, and if that happens, then he would manage to at least save whatever pride and dignity he thinks he has left. If not, then he can start counting the corpses of his men.” I said, and he hummed in response. “You can come back to the Estate, Igor.”
