Chapter 30. Alive

Liam’s POV

“What’s going on?” Julian asked as we approached the house “Liam who is that,” he pointed to the figures. I could tell by the way he struggled beneath his seatbelt he was ready for a fight.

“That’s two members of the Obsidian Pack, I think?” I questioned myself. I slowed the car down and took more attention to the smaller figure between them “With Celeste!!”

I felt my entire body react to both rage and happiness at once. Celeste was alive!

“What are they gonna do with her?” Julian asked in panic, he snorted with fury as he unfastened his belt. I fully expected him to leap out of the moving car at this point “She’s not dead!”

I said nothing in response. I felt sick to my stomach. That cruel bitch lied to me, such foul lies as well. A growl simmered in my throat and I turned the car heading toward them. The wheels screeched to a stop as the car halted just in front of them. We both left the car in a hurry.
