Chapter 35. Reflection
Celeste’s POV
Here we go again.
My teeth clenched tightly as the pain seared through my head, stabbing into my eyes as though I was being attacked by tiny daggers.
It felt like the pain worsened with each episode now.
I was trying to enjoy a relaxing bubble bath when the attack struck. Closing my eyes tightly, my fingers grasped at the sides of my head. The sensation of wanting to tear my own skin from my skull heightened. Just to feel pain from something worse.
‘Winter, it hurts,’ I cried internally to my wolf ‘When will it stop?’
There was no reply from Winter. I failed to even see the image of her in my mind, the pain was overriding everything. I tried to imagine the vision of her black fur, her green eyes blinking from within the darkness surrounding them. But she wasn’t there.
