Leo POV

In the hotel room Amber checked into, I sat on the edge of the bed with my shirt off, Amber wiped the blood off my face. For someone who spent days torturing me, her touch was surprisingly gentle.

Her brows were furrowed in concentration and I couldn’t stop staring, committing every inch of her face to memory. But a part of me was puzzled.

When I decided to chase after her, I knew Cedric was a strong opposition. Or so I thought.

Since we entered the room, she hasn’t said a word to me. It probably had to do with her break up with Cedric.

I had been half conscious but I heard it clearly. He said it was over between them if she left. And yet she did.

She dabbed a deep cut on my head and I hissed from the sharp, stinging pain.

A crazy idea popped in my head. Maybe….just maybe she felt something for me.
