Cedric POV

I entered the basement where Leo was forced to his knees, his hands tied back.

One of my men had suffered a few bruises on his face. Leo must have put up quite a fight.

He glared at me, breathing heavily. His eyes brimmed with anger and hate.

“Leave us,” I said, holding his gaze.

My men left the room and I stooped low to look him in the eye.

“I guess you already know who I am”

He growled in response. “What do you want from me?”

The next second, my fist collided with his jaw. The crack of his bone echoed across the basement.

His head snapped to the side, and he spat blood on the floor.

I grabbed his hair and yanked it back. “You poisoned Amber and killed my child. And then you had the guts to send her flowers”

He smirked. “I see what this is about. You are scared of losing Amber to me so you’re trying to get me out of the picture”

My lips twitched in fury. “You have no right to say her name”
