Chapter 30. Friendship at Last
Yasmin smiled, her head on Carlos’s chest as they sat together on a chair in her father’s living room, watching TV. He played with her hair, grinning as she leaned in closer to him, purring in delight.
He chuckled. “Is that how much you like it?”
She grinned. “I don’t care what you do; I will love it.”
He chuckled. “Okay, girl.”
She had a call, and she raised her head away from his chest to receive her call. “Hey, Sophie,” she grinned into the phone.
Sophie grinned. “How is our bride doing?”
Yasmin grinned, giggling softly. She could barely wait for her wedding. “She is fine, and so is the groom,” she said, glancing at Carlos, who turned his head away from the TV to wink at her.
Sophie rolled her eyes. “I never asked you about the groom. You always know how to flaunt your mate.”
