Chapter 29. Kisses and Allergies

Yasmin’s eyes darted across the road as she checked those moving out of the airplane. She darted across the road, shooting herself straight into Carlos’s arms. He laughed as he dropped his bag and held her in his arms, carrying her upwards.

“Yasmin,” he breathed her name with affection.

“Baby,” she cooed, grinning at him as she wrapped her hands around his neck. “I missed you so much.”

“I missed you too. I missed you so much that it hurts. Looking at you now, I wonder how I survived those long days without you.”

She giggled. “And yet you refuse to come back home despite the calls and how much I yap about missing you.”

He chuckled, lowered his head, and kissed her. “Am I forgiven?”

She grinned. “Not yet.”

He grinned and kissed her again. “Forgiven?”

She smiled at him, licking her lips, and giggled as he groaned, his eyes following the movement of her tongue on her lips. “Not yet.”

He grinned. “We have to get home, Yasmin.”
