Chapter 5. Picky Girl
“Here.” The servant stood at the entrance of a room, bowed, and left without another word, eager to be out of her sight. They had all heard from the other servants who had walked them in how rude she was, and he didn’t want a girl to insult him.
Riyadh nodded, turned the door, and walked inside. She gasped in delight as she saw the room. Her room looked beautiful to her, and she ran straight to the bed, hopping on it and breathing in the fresh scent emanating from the bedspread.
She scowled to herself afterward. What was the use of a beautiful room when she would be bored at the place eventually? She doubted there was anything to occupy her time or catch her fancy, and with time, she knew she would hate how beautiful and big the room was if she stayed in it all day.
Her thoughts went to her father, and she hissed at how easily he dismissed her when he saw his friend. She rolled her eyes, wishing she also had a friend she could talk with all day.
