Chapter 30
Dana’s POV
“Dana!” I could hear relief in my sister’s voice as I ran towards her. I embraced her tight, never wanting to let go again.
“We are not passing through the forest, are we?” I asked in a scared tone. The horrors I had heard about the forest were trembling even for the strongest of us werewolves.
“I’m afraid it’s our only chance.” I knew she was scared but her voice betrayed otherwise.
“It’s no chance at all; no one has ever made it out alive, and if we do, we’ll surely run mad,” I tried my best to reason with her.
“Dana, listen to me. We’re going to pass through the forest, and we’re going to be just fine,” she told me, but I was trembling already. I knew I would rather spend the rest of my life in jail than pass through this forest.
“I cannot, sister. I would rather die now. There are beasts and…”
