Chapter 33. Dinner with Rofus

Amelia’s POV

After taking the phone out of my pocket, I turned away from Rofus. I dialed Nikita’s number several times, but the operator responded that it was out of coverage, which means she turned the phone off or there was no internet signal in the area where she is presently located.

I heaved a sigh. I know there is no opportunity that I can contact her at the moment. I turned around and faced Rofus to let him know about the details.

“I cannot get in touch with Nikita. She was currently out of reach.”

“Maybe she turned off her phone,” I added and tried my best to be calm.
