Chapter 34. Amelia’s Worries
Amelia’s POV
My initial reaction was to bow my head in embarrassment. I would have totally forgotten about it. Is it wrong for me to express my opinions? I simply want us to talk normally.
“Are you sure? I guessed there was one.”
I know this is also nonsense, but I do not have anything else to say. I just like us to have a conversation.
“A sudden downpour is unpredictable, accompanied by a gust of wind. Thankfully, I am already at home. If not, I will be in trouble going home because I did not bring an umbrella with me.”
By responding to my queries, I presumed I was overwhelmed, and Rofus wanted to speak with me. He said nothing, which surprised me. I am not confident, and I cannot explain it in words. Suddenly, I felt at ease in his presence, as if it were nothing unusual. Unlike before, his presence made me uneasy for some reason.
