Chapter 47. You’re Not in Love With Her?

Kael’s POV

My body froze, unable to think and unable to move. I didn’t understand what I said that made her look so pissed.

All I wanted was to take the clothes away and replace them with something much better, and the way she reacted felt as if she didn’t want to be called mine.

I ran my hand through my hair as I leaned my back against the wall, staring at her as she walked to the corner.

My eyes widened when I realized what she planned to do.

I walked to where she was and held her hand. She pulled her hand from mine and went back to laying the mat.

My frown deepened. Before I could stop myself, my leg had already kicked the mat away.

I saw how her eyes widened. “W…what do you want, Alpha?” she said through clenched teeth.

“Why do you want to sleep on the cold floor?” I asked.
