“Why do I have to bathe with the beast?” I asked as I took a sharp breath.

Bianca frowned. “Is there a problem?” she asked.

I shook my head. “There’s no problem, but bathing with the beast…” I said as I averted my gaze, looking at the beast who sat with his head resting on his hand.

“Are you shy because you don’t want him to see you naked?” Bianca asked.

I clamped my mouth shut. “Wait… or is it because you’re having a thing for him?” she asked again.

This time, my eyes widened as heat crept to my face. “What are you saying? Don’t worry, I will bathe with him,” I said in a small voice as I bent toward the beast.

“Bubu, we are going to shower together,” I said to him. He just blinked his eyes before sniffing my skin.

I sighed and turned to Bianca. I watched in silence as she poured the pounded leaves into the sage. “Okay, now it’s all ready. Wait, let me go and sprinkle this into the water,” Bianca said as she carri
