Chapter 53. Alpha’s Gift

Adrianna’s POV

“I’m sorry,” I said as I walked slowly to where she stood. She eyed me before she went to the couch to sit.

A smile flashed across my face. I had been sad and scared that she would not come to see me.

I glanced at Marcus, who smiled at me before he left.

I walked to Bianca and pulled her into a hug. Her body stiffened, and she did not hug me back.

I pulled away slightly and looked at her face. I bit my lip, then went to the couch to sit.

“Now, start talking,” she said.

I chuckled. “Aren’t you surprised to see the Alpha in his human form?” I asked.

She raised a brow and sighed. “I’m not really surprised because I have been noticing it, but what surprised me is you making out with him,” she said, pointing at me with a pout.

I cleared my throat. “We were just kissing, nothing more,” I said in a voice that was barely a whisper.

“Just kissing?” she murmured, staring at me as if she was not buying that.
