Chapter 70. Antidote
Adrianna’s POV
“Doing what?” I asked, staring into his eyes as my hand subconsciously sank deeper into his hair.
Suddenly, he placed his head on my tummy. “You make me feel what I shouldn’t, and it’s driving me insane,” he said in a low voice.
My heart skipped. Did that mean he had feelings for me? I wanted to pull away, but he tightened his hold on me. “Stay still,” he said.
I exhaled heavily as I continued standing while massaging his head.
“Are you sure you will be fine?” I heard his soft voice.
A smile tore through my voice as I pulled away slightly and bent to his height. “I will be fine, I promise. Moreover, Marcus and Bianca would be there with me, too.” I said, blinking at him.
His eyes searched mine as if he was trying hard to allow me. “Please,” I whispered.
That seemed to get to him. “Okay,” he said.
My eyes lit up as I wrapped my arms around his neck. “Thank you so much,” I said.
