Adrianna’s POV

“No, no, no, no!” Bianca blurted, raising her hand while shaking her head.

“I don’t think I want to be part of this,” she said.

I placed my hand on my waist. “Are you scared? We will be fine if we do it with care.” I said.

She seemed to want to argue, but I beat her to it. “People are losing their lives because of this. If we don’t find a way to provide an antidote, I’m afraid this will put your sweet mate in a tight position.” I said, clasping my hands together.

She opened her mouth but then closed it again. “We will be fine, Bianca,” I said.

She took a sharp breath. “Okay. I’m trusting you with this.”

My face lit up. “Thank you, you’re the best,” I said before going to the couch, with the beast walking behind me.

“So where do we start from?” she asked.

I placed the book on the table. “We start when the ingredients are brought in,” I said before sitting on the tiled floor.
