Kael’s POV

“Adrianna, why do you like taking words out of my mouth?” I asked, staring at her face.

She blinked rapidly as though she did not understand what I was talking about.

I had been finding ways to confess, to tell her how much I loved her, but whenever I tried to speak out, she always beat me to it and ended up leaving me keeping my mouth shut.

My hand stroked her waist. “Cat got your tongue, hmm?” I asked.

She opened her moist lips, then closed them again. I smiled. Tonight we had a long way to go.

“Come,” I said, stepping away a little. I held her hand, pulling her into the closet.

I searched through my shirts. I found one and placed it on her body; my brow furrowed. They all looked big.

“I will go with this,” she said eventually, after several searches and trying.
