Chapter 88

Draven’s POV

“No matter how much I try, I just can’t believe Alpha Lennox has no idea where she is,” Lucas—undoubtedly one of the most exasperating Council members—huffed, nearly pounding his fist on the rounded dais in the Council chamber.

“Enough, Lucas. Repeating yourself won’t change a thing,” Alpha Philip replied wearily as he drifted back to his seat. “It’s been four weeks since that blood moon appeared out of nowhere, yet still we haven’t located her.” His voice was hollow, the frustration barely contained behind his eyes.

Every Council member shared his irritation, myself included, though each for different reasons. This marked the fourth meeting in a single, bloody week, and as always, the sole topic was the missing white wolf—and every session ended with zero new leads.
