Chapter 12

Nate’s POV

Carrying my mate to the room opposite mine, I had suddenly come to the realization that it was most likely improper for me to clean her up on my own.

I didn’t want her to wake up and think that I might have done anything inappropriate, but as luck would have it, I had bumped into a small Omega on the staircase as I had set out to grab someone to help.

She flinched as I barked orders at her but hurried off to gather the items I had asked her to and I returned to the room my beautiful mate was laid in. I paced in front of the doorway until the Omega appeared around the corner looking quite flustered.

“Forgive me, Alpha, but , would a medical center not be a better option to bring your guest to?” The Omega stammered, not meeting my eyes.

“If I thought that was necessary, I would have taken her there. She is not injured, but she is naked and I don’t want her to get the wrong impression if she wakes up alone with me while I am cleaning her
