"I'm sorry on his behalf. I swear he's not an aggressive person," I told the officer.

"He punched the wall three times after coming here," the officer stated flatly.

"Well, not usually," I responded awkwardly. “He is a sweetheart all the time. Actually, you know,” I leaned closer to him and lowered my tone, “he got to know that he's infertile this morning, that's why he is so upset.”

Aaron would butcher me if he got to know that I lied to the officer about his productivity. But he doesn't need to know, does he?

The officer's face turned down in sympathy. “That is so tragic. Getting to know that you are infertile on your honeymoon. I hope such a tragedy doesn't befall on anybody.” He wiped a tear from the corner of his right eye and said to me, “Don't worry, lady. There are plenty of other fishes in the sea here. You can find someone else.”
