After an uneventful week in the Maldives, even though I was back in my homeland, but not in my home. Because the place I was entering was my husband's home—no, mansion.
The mansion looked extremely elegant and modern from the outside with the perfect blend of colors and outdoor facilities. My eyes gleamed when it fell on the swimming pool since I loved swimming since childhood. Not to mention, the location of the mansion was perfect as it was near the ocean. But it wasn't that surprising, considering Aaron owned a real estate company.
The car halted right in front of the entrance of the mansion and I jumped out excitedly without waiting for Aaron. As I stepped on the threshold, the big double doors were opened for me and the servants bowed their heads as if I was a queen. Well, technically, I was the temporary queen of the house.
