Chapter 52. Blurting out
Just as a few things started to fall into place, everything else scattered.
I couldn't bear looking at Veronica. With her being in a traumatized state, she didn't even struggle when I brought her to my mansion. It's not that I wanted to bring her here without her consent, but it was the safest place for now.
I heard from Veronica's manager that there were angry fans outside her new apartment building, waiting to ambush her.
I was waiting in the living room, scrolling through the news feed. Everyone was bashing Veronica and accusing her of Presley Florence's murder. But some people were also supporting her too. Yet, many people in the comments were badmouthing her, starting from her hair color to her character.
Where the fuck did these people come from? I wanted to shove each of them in a big oven and burn them up.
