Chapter 66. A Family
“I will go put Sen in bed,” Aaron said and went to his bedroom with Seneca in his arms.
After meeting Sara in the hospital, the two of us came back home after a while. Stephen told us to take care of Seneca for the night and the day after since her nanny was on a vacation. It wasn't the first time that Seneca would be staying with us. Stephen and Sara used to drop her home on weekends whenever they would need to go on dates or spend some time with each other.
However, I was worried about Seneca tonight since she still must be traumatized about what happened to Sara. I knew Aaron could handle it, but his arm must still hurt.
Therefore, after changing into my nightclothes, I softly knocked on Aaron's door.
“It's open,” I heard Aaron's low voice from inside. I pushed open the double doors and entered to see him stroking Seneca's hair and whispering something to her with an assuring smile.
