Chapter 105. The Fly Leaf

Weeks in the mansion felt like waking up in a dream every morning. Or having been trapped in one dream where you don’t want to wake up anymore. There’s only Olivia and me in the house. Gilbert and the driver went home as part of Dad’s instructions that the mansion shall be ours alone.
The travel from the mansion to the company every morning was the only struggle. I have to allot double the time I used to before. Now, I have to wake up earlier, eat breakfast earlier, and make sure to arrive at the company as early as I can.
As for Olivia, she still prefers to take the bus because it stops directly in front of the school. She said it’s more convenient since the office is out of the way, so every morning, I only drive her to the bus station and wait until she gets on a bus before I turn around my way and drive to mine.
