Chapter 63. The Third Island

The road to the third island was emphasized by the changing of the tides. It was what I wished before this boating activity commenced. Now in low tide, it’s easy to appreciate the beauty and radiance of the third island. While the boat approached, everyone took pictures and when the boat docked, right after the man announced that we can have 15 minutes to enjoy our last stop, I stood up and held my hand for Ashlene.
“What is this?” she asked. For the second island, I didn’t leave the boat. Perhaps she’s curious on why I’m suddenly asking for her hand.
“Let’s see what the fuss is about,” I said.
She took my hand and we walked down the steps of the boat. Seashells were everywhere and unlike the first island, there’s no souvenir houses nor creepy old woman waiting by the bay.
