I balled my fists. I don’t know what’s happening. I haven’t felt so triggered before. Anyone who had lived with the Ridleys for the same amount of time as I did can attest that they are not the kindest people on Earth. They are simply bad… there’s no other way to say that. It would still mean the same.
“They’re not bad people? Really, Ash?”
I could feel a fight coming… and usually I’m the one who would pacify myself. I wasn’t a fan of fights, nor do I usually engage in one. But here, the fight is the only thing I could think at a moment. Perhaps that’s normal. I’m human. I have my own limitations. I lose my cool. I feel rage.
