Chapter 86. Perfect Timing

Ted was right. The apartment’s too big for just one person. I placed my things on the couch; I guess I’ll wait until Ted comes home from work.
The place was spacious anyway. The kitchen had a round table with six seats, an island with a bowl of oranges, and a refrigerator with magnets from different countries he had visited. From the couch fronting the television, the rows of DVDs were delicately organized in the clear closet. From where I was sitting, I could see the books from under the table. Most of them were about travel books and classic literature.
I also saw two doors from where I was sitting. I guess those were the bedrooms. I wanted to see and check them; which one belongs to Ted and which one is mine. However, I think that should be done with the owner of the house present. I guess I could use some nap while waiting.
