Chapter 87. The First Time that Day

Olivia and I found a short order placed just a few corners from the apartment. They have all kinds of stir-fried noodles and cold house-blended drinks. The place has a cute playground concept, which I think was made to attract university students nearby. I ordered a stir-fry pancit guisado and steamed siomai. As for the drink, Olivia and I decided to just get a pitcher of blue lemonade. I can get some more food later for takeout. For Ted. I don’t think I would still be having dinner later after all this food.

As for Olivia, she got baked spaghetti with extra meatballs and some glass noodles in squid ink. I grimaced when she ordered that. Nothing, it sounded… bad.

There were a few noisy teenagers enjoying their meals in the place. While eating, they were watching a romantic movie on one’s laptop. I found us a vacant table furthest from them. I can’t deal with noisy teenagers at the moment.
