I was all smiles when I arrived in the office. The memory of the kiss still fresh at the back of my mind. Olivia called me while I was on the bus, telling me I left my hankie on the kitchen counter and asked if she needed to bring it to my workplace. I said no.

It’s only a hankie, not worth all the trouble. She didn’t need to cross bridges for me over something insignificant I can just dismiss.

Yet, just the thought of it is sweet. Imagine, she’s willing to do that much for me. Something so new to the kind of love I’m used to.

“Having a great day? You’re glowing, Dy,” Alex said as he entered the elevator the same time as me.

He and I work in the same floor, same with Mr. Jakob, the owner himself. I don’t know why but the Human Resource said Mr. Jakob personally picked me and Alex to be his personal assistants. He’s the executive assistant and I’m just… well, just an assistant slightly lower in rank and salary than Alex’s.
