He wore a long-sleeved white shirt, a green necktie, and a pair of black trousers. The moment my invisible double unsheathed his katana, Onakposeba flung his briefcase at him.
The latter didn’t flinch as the suitcase simply passed through him and landed on the ground. Onakposeba came off the bed, looking as if he’d been expecting him. The look on his face was similar to that of Deaconess Amadi as he made for the door. He was about to turn the doorknob when the point of my katana pierced his spinal column and came out through his navel. My invisible double twisted it before pulling it out.
My invisible double looked around the room and waited for any ‘intruder’ to show up; a thin line of blood appeared near Onakposeba’s mouth. My invisible double took one last look at the well-starched shirt of the dead man before walking out through the wall.
