Chapter 12. Calm Down

Madeline's POV

I slowly walked towards the magic crystal and felt its power surrounding me. The crystal was obviously made of solid diamond and I could see the prism inside it. It was so beautiful, but if it is in the wrong hands, it could be dangerous to the whole world. 

“Madeline?” I heard Prince Arthur call me, but I did not turn to him. “Are you sure what you are doing right now?”

I heard an answer in my ear, “Yes.” It was not me, I am sure. It must be Marissa inside me. 

I smirked and felt the urge to get the magic crystal out of its transparent glass. When I finally held it, a surreal connection went to my body. It was magically light and felt so good.

“What the fuck… what the hell…” Prince Arthur mumbled curses. “How could you fucking lift that? That is heavy!”
