Chapter 20. Count Reymar's Command

Madeline's POV

I opened my eyes and the first thing I saw was the heat penetrating through the window from my chambers. When I sat on my bed, I yawned and stretched my arms while making neck and muscle cracks before I rousted off.

"Good morning, world!” I greeted as I opened the window. “And it is my birthday!” 

Well, not technically Madeline’s birthday, but Marissa’s birthday. Oh! I forgot to greet her in my dreams! 

“Your Highness! Are you already awake?" someone behind my door asked. "The count and countess are already in the dining hall waiting for you."

"Yeah, sure!" I answered back. "Just inform them that I will take a bath first and dress up."

"As you wish, Your Highness!"

I did not waste my time anymore and went to the bathe room so that I can clean myself and pick a nice and comfortable dress. I am not that slow when I take a bath. Just a normal routine before I went to the huge wardrobe of the chambers wh
