Madeline's POV
The red moon was very beautiful above and the smoke I blow from my cigarette was making an effect around it dramatically. Uriel, on the other hand, was busy drinking his ale like an old man in a young lad's body. Silence was a good sound between the two of us, because the noise inside was being muffled. I wonder where Victor is. I wanted to tall to him, and when I asked Uriel about my friend, he said he did not know.
I got bored of what I was doing, so I turned to Uriel with the cigarette between my middle finger and index finger. When he realized that I was watching him, he casually moved his eyes on my direction. A smirk formed in my lips.
