Chapter 33. Countess Hera's Outburst

Madeline's POV

I opened my eyes to see the white ceiling above me. I was already in my room, and I knew at that time that I have already escaped from the paradise of Countess Marissa. The conversation we had was intense, and it felt like she is a little bit bothered that everything is starting now that my prophecy was revealed. Silence prevailed and it deafened me more than I expected. 

When I looked at what I was wearing, it was a sleeping dress now. The red moon was shining brightly through the window of my chambers. My hand automatically went to the side of my neck where Uriel bit me and it was painful, the reason why I grunted. Then it must have been only a while ago when everything happened. I wonder if everyone is already sleeping. 

“This can’t be…” a woman’s voice said. 

I decided to go down to the palace so I could go to the kitchen hall and get some food. However, I was Countess Hera and Count Reymar in the dining hall
