Hannah’s POV

Everyone was already at the dining table by the time I was done breastfeeding Angel and putting her to bed.

“Is she asleep?” Matt asked as soon as he saw me.

I was exhausted. “Yes, finally.”

Emily chuckled. “Welcome to the life of being a mom.”

A smile made its way to my face. Although it’s been an exhausting journey, I wouldn’t trade it for anything in the world.

“Angie is a wonderful kid. She doesn’t even cry much. This one wailed like an ambulance and wouldn’t let his mother or I have any rest.”

“I’m deeply offended by that,” Matt said, feigning an annoyed look.

“I agree, Oliver. Angel’s a quiet baby. My godmother’s baby would always cry all night and never let her have any rest. It was so horrible.”
