Matt’s POV

“And the whore runs away to hide in shame! Look at her, she can’t even face the consequences of her actions! Always running away in tears like a damsel in distress when she’s nothing but a pretentious bitch! I told you there was something off about her, but you wouldn’t believe…”

“Enough!” Mom yelled in anger. “Not one more word from you. I don’t want to hear it!” her eyes glowed with rage.

It was the first time I had ever seen her that angry.

Dad stepped in to calm her down before leading her away.

“Geez, why is she mad at me? The only person we should be angry at is that whore!”

I also walked away, perplexed at how she couldn’t see what she did wrong.

Vanessa stormed after me. “Matt, why aren’t you saying anything?”

I walked into my room without answering her.

She shut the door behind her. “Matt!”

I sighed and dropped myself on the bed.
