Michael’s POV
Cassie and I have been getting along so well and I know I have been able to crawl my way into her heart again even though she refused to admit it.
I got busy that evening and prepared a fancy dinner for her in my apartment. I had gone out of my way to make everything perfect to her taste.
While I waited for her to come back from her shoot, I stood on the balcony, leaning against the rail as I watched the street below.
A car pulled up at the front of the building which I ignored but I glanced at it again and my body went rigid the moment I recognized her shape stepping out of the passenger seat.
Even though I was almost at the top floor and couldn’t make out their faces, I could recognise Cassandra anywhere.
