Lucas’s POV

Being the host of the party, I was busy greeting guests and thanking them for honouring our invitation.

Throughout the party, my eyes followed Lena around as my mother introduced to all her friends. I felt lonely with her not being by my side.

When I noticed her leaving the hall, I quickly excused myself and went after her. She went into the female restroom and I looked for an empty room nearby.

As she came out and walked toward the hall, I grabbed her and pulled her into the room. She began to struggle and I quickly whispered in her ear. “It’s me.”

I locked the door and she turned to face me with wide eyes. “What are you doing? Mom is waiting for me.”

Instead of replying, I pulled her closer to me and crashed my lips on her. She grabbed my arms and kissed me back. I pushed her back till she hit the wall and I tilted her chin to deepen the kiss.
