Chapter 17. Return His Blood To Him

Lena’s POV

I changed into my second wedding outfit and went back to the after-party to join Lucas who was greeting the guests and toasting to them.

When it was time for our first day as married couples, Lucas led me to the center of the ball room. We glided slowly to the rhythm of the songs and the guests applauded as we ended the dance.

Lucas and I took our seats as the guests were enjoying the party on their own. I let out a sigh of relief because I was finally going to get some rest but it was short lived as one of the security guards rushed to Lucas and I.

“Alpha, Mr. Pretakis is causing a nuisance outside, demanding that we let him in.”

My heart dropped at the mention of my father’s name. After making sure to keep the news of my wedding out of the public, he still managed to find out.

Lucas glanced at me and I gave him an apologetic look.

He sighed and turned back to the security guard. “Take them to the second lounge.”
