Chapter 21. My Mate

Daisy’s POV

I woke up to my body aching me all over and an arm draped around my waist. When I tried to move, a sharp pain in between my legs stopped me and all the events of last night flooded my head.

Wait, Austin? No, I did not.

My heart thudded in my chest as I turned to see who was laying with me on the bed. I cursed myself in my head when I saw that it was none other than my mate, Austin.

How could I have given myself just like that to a womaniser? I scolded myself and bit through the pain between my legs as I slipped out of the bed.

I quickly got dressed and left the room before he woke up.

As I got to my house, I slumped on the couch with my eyes closed. “Daisy, what were you thinking? How could you give your first time to a womaniser?”

‘That womaniser is your mate,” My wolf Ashley replied.

‘I have not accepted him yet and I’m not sure I will.’

‘Why not? We have always hoped to find our mate.’ Ashley pushed.
