Lena’s POV

One week has passed and Lucas hasn’t come back home. It was as if he didn’t consider the mansion his home anymore. I shook it out of my mind and went about my daily life like he didn’t exist.

That afternoon, I was in my office at the hospital going through some patients’ files after completing my rounds in the ward. A nurse came in to inform me. “Dr. Pretakis, someone is here to see you.”
