Chapter 62. A New Life

Austin’s POV

“Of course.” I pinched myself on the thigh just to make sure I wasn’t dreaming.

“Okay.” Daisy heaved a sigh of relief and averted her eyes from mine.

Everyone else in the room were staring at us with smiles on their faces and I could that was getting uncomfortable from the attention, so I picked her up in bridal which made her eyes widened and I walked into another private room.

I placed her on the sofa and held her tightly. She hugged me back and relaxed in my embrace. It was as though I was having a dream and I never wanted to wake up from the dream.

Words cannot describe how I was feeling. I found my mate a few months ago and now I discovered that I was going to be a father. We were going to be responsible for another life.

I pulled away and slowly planted a kiss on her forehead, then moved to her cheeks and finally her lips. I whispered against her lips, “You don’t know how happy I am right now.”
