The following morning, I went to the company with Lucas. Of course, we went late because Lucas kept me up all night.

The moment I walked into the office with him, everywhere became suddenly quiet and I could feel their stares boring into my skin.

It was the first time I would come to the Anderson company with Lucas since the public found out about us, so I wasn’t surprised by the murmurs and the stairs I was getting.
