Chapter 34. She Moved On
Max’s POV
I barged into my hotel room, slamming the door behind me. Pacing back and forth, fists clenched and an angry mind churning over what had happened.
Ava and Mason together. Of all people, it just had to be Mason.
There was also no denying that the kid was an Anderson, anyone with half blind eyes could tell.
But I was supposed to believe that it was just a coincidence that they were together.
The serious look on Ava’s face when she said her life doesn’t revolve around me was printed in my mind. How could she just move on like that and with my brother for that matter?
Different thoughts kept flooding in and I knew I had to talk to someone before I went crazy, so I took out my phone and dialed Jayden’s number.
“Hey Max, what’s up?” Jayden’s carefree voice came over the phone.
“I have to tell you something.” My voice strained up, but the rage just simmered just beneath.
