We got out of the rollercoaster, and I felt my phone buzzing.

I pulled it out. It was a text message from my manager.

“Sir, there’s a tagged picture of you at the fun park. Should I reach out and tell the woman to take it down?”

I sighed.

Must be the bride.

I texted back:

“She’s a fan, and I’m okay with it.”

When I looked up again, Charlotte was standing in front of me.

“What’s wrong, baby?” she asked with a worried look.

I smiled. “The picture I took with my mask off. But my manager is handling it.”

She nodded.

“I want to do it again!” Charlotte suddenly said with excitement.

“What?” I snapped.

“The rollercoaster ride,” she replied.

“I don’t believe it.”

“Come on, baby, it was a joy ride. I enjoyed it. Let’s do it again, please?” She said, making a sad face.

I pinched the bridge of my nose.

“You don’t know how worried you got me during that ride. You literally passed out.
