Chapter 36

The morning sun-scorched Merga, her red hair twinkling to the ray of the sun. She looked forward, her eyes fixed on the door of the wooden house before her, she walked closer, opened it, and stepped into the silent house.

Entering, she turned her gaze to Robert who was still asleep, his eyes closed as he slept peacefully. She scanned him curiously as she walked closer to him, holding a bag hung over her shoulder. Her eyes softened, her stare fixed on the stunning king before her. She can’t deny the fact that even with the bruises on his skin, he still looked handsome, his thick eyebrows, dazzling eyelashes, and cheekbones perfectly created, indeed he was a masterpiece of nature.

She couldn’t explain why she felt this force drawing him closer to her, she has tried getting this weird feeling off her but she seems not to know what they are or how she feels, she was lost in deep uncertainty that needed great attention.

Merga stood beside him watching the ray of the sun
